No doubt the early Christian church preached Jesus’ message because there are 20 plus references in first five books of New Testament.
Matthew 24:14 said: “Gospel of kingdom will be preached in the entire world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come”. Yes, it makes sense Jesus came as our Savior, both to rescue and redeem us from Adams curse. Remember it was God who told Noah to build a boast so He could destroy the entire world because it was corrupted by people. No, it was to just destroy humans, but to restart HIs earthly family. Then in the New Testament we see Peter preaching Jesus’ message to the first church. It’s a fact that God does not want man changing Jesus’ message to fit our lifestyle instead of God’s true purpose.
This means that every Christian plays a vital part of why God created earth and placed humans on it to carry out His plan. No not mans message, but to carry Jesus’ message around the entire world. Like Israel refusing to take their land, ended up walking around the wilderness instead of following God’s plan for them: “time is fulfilled and kingdom is at hand: repent and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:25). Today, Jesus is again telling believers it’s time to get up out of their wilderness and start walking on water with Him.
If you think Jesus is now preparing believers to part the waters of sin and cross over to His life, you are right. Does this mean the end of our battles? No, it means our battles results will get even better. This also means that Christians will also be seen as the true image of Jesus, which is an important part of God’s eternal plan, instead of a few years on earth. It’s time the Saints of God get off their pews and into a process of increasing more believer for Jesus. Sadly, less than 10% of pew sitters do any of God’s work outside the church buildings, thinking it is the leader’s job to build the congregation. Sadly, the latest report says less than 5% of leaders have brought anyone to church either.
The Apostle Paul actually said it best, saying the fullness of time we live in will be a partnership of God and His Saints. Jesus army will release the most spectacular execution of His power ever seen. No, God’s plan is not to improve us, it’s to remove us from the curse Adam created. Another way of saying this is: Believer are up to bat with all basses loaded and were at the bottom of the last ending. So, are we important to Jesus’ team, you better believe you are.
