Climbing to Health Mountain Top

It is sad, but true many local communities are starving for Biblical Holy Ghost revivals. Too many good churches today are in survival modes and many great preachers are fighting depression. The answer requires climbing back into position that will produce growth. Yes, it’s time to climb our mountains all the way to the top.

Yes, many churches today are seeing and focusing on Jesus’ plan again that is more than trying to please the world. When churches stand together, united instead of being competition; that is climbing mountains instead of just larger numbers. Jesus actually cleared this subject up when He explained why He became a minister helping introduce others to His Father.

With many modern Christians it seems they do not have a problem with God handling things, but a major problem become another thing. This got me thinking about the subject of bit problems verse little problems in life. So, I decided to track God’s promises through the Old and New Testaments where I came to the conclusion that even doctors believe in God, but their faith is weak. I personally went through health issues requiring several test, and lots of doctor conversation with little God’s healing ability. Yes, many doctors believe in God, but the faith level is weak. We need to remember that it was Jesus who said that sing’s and wonders would follow those that believed, believe is key word.

Another area that dilutes godly healing is when we separate healing and salvation. Why is it hard for believers to claim total healing? Why is it also hard to believe God can fix what he creates? Why can a believer stand on their salvation, yet weaken in their healing. God was the one who promised healing in both Old and New Testaments. Look at this: “If you diligently heed the voice of Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statures, I will put none of the disease on you for I am the Lord who heals you”. Exodus 1:26.

Notice that there are also two others choices in life we can choose between: Become a citizen of God’s Kingdom or citizen of worldly kingdom. This is a priority step in everyone’s life, plus the decision starts with being saved first. In my own walk in-Christ I can safely say there were times the Lord had to help me, as everyone else my guide through life has been Jesus. So, since faith is a gift from God we should all pray for faith. So, why does all this work? The answer is simple: prayer agrees with God’s will. Apostle John said it best: “This is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14-15).

The word “healing” is found 14 times in New Testament with 32 of the ties referring to divine healing. So, I feel it important that I clarify my position concerning divine healing and natural medical procedures. I do, without doubt believe in the medical field. I believe it is a ministry that God also uses. My personal decision to rely on divine healing should not be interpreted that I do not trust doctors. My decision is based on my feeling of what I do in any particular situation. This subject is covered more thoroughly in my book, “Step into His Presence”.
