More Than 24 hours a Day is Possible

Life’s most difficult battles are really not that difficult when we understand our own abilities. Truth is that there are only twenty four hours in one day and we cannot change it. Yet, to accomplish our goals it sometimes takes more than twenty four hours, whether an individual, church, or a business. But, I’ll show you a simple way to achieve more than 24 hours in a day.

Jesus increased his 24 hours by training 12 men, adding 70 more, and then 3,000 more people in one day on the Day of Pentecost. My point is that we can increase our hours by doing the same thing Jesus did, which was adding others onto His team.

When I was in the business world I needed several hundred hours a day to accomplish my goals. When I came to God at age 28 the church had about 60 or so people. Soon I became part of the leadership and accomplishing the biggest Sunday attendance ever with 1343 people. How? Easy, I trained leadership how to increase leadership from one or two to over 30, thus about half the original congregation. My point is that you cannot increase your 24 hours, but you can increase your accomplishments through training, purpose and sending like Jesus did. No, not new, many others today who understand increase over just rule are too.

Today, much of the church world is not focused on training leaders; only spectators and helpers. You might use the example of a football game. If only the coaches played without the players there would not be much on of field game. It is when the players enter the field; that the game can be won. The people come to church to watch and be entertained, when they should be trained to be active participants to accomplish God’s plan.

Yes, you are thinking right now, it’s not as easy as it sounds; but that is only because the people sitting on pews have not been taught to experience spiritual increase nor have they been trained to get out on the mission field between Sundays.  When you get everyone’s 24 hours a chance to get involved and come alive becoming more useful to both themselves and their Church. That is when the numbers increase, the Holy Spirit gets involved and miracles happen. So don’t forget that God loves every human and will never give up trying to increase both His Body and our church seats.
