The one certain thing that God does not teach is fear itself. He will not block decisions we make. This tells us that if our major reason for being a Christian is just to keep out of hell, we have a serious dilemma because this is not the love Jesus refers too. Love is not fearful and Jesus’ teaching is not to scare people into saying they love Him. Jesus will not kick our doors down, but will knock and wait for us to open the door. “For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to lay upon you any greater burden than these indispensable requirements, (Acts 15:28 Amplified).
Every human born into this world must make their own choice between two spiritual kingdoms, the Kingdom of God and the other is Satan’s kingdom. Both kingdoms have their own message: Jesus’ message is based on an abundant life. Satan’s is to promote darkness and death. Each of us must separately make our own choice between the two kingdoms. It does not require that we take a test or fill out papers, nor requires money.
This should also tell us how vitally important the Christian Church is to the entire world. We are not only the “salt and light of earth”, we are also the main door into God’s Kingdom. Christians are Jesus’ vehicle to draw people into his kingdom of love! The Christian lifestyle, which is the image of Jesus’ Kingdom, is our strongest gospel message to the world. The bottom line is that true Christians affect the choices people are trying to walk between: one of love and life, one of sin and death. When someone truly understands the difference in these two kingdoms, their choice becomes much easier. .John 10:10
It is true that both the kingdoms have different lifestyles. So I will use a simple description I often use when ministering. I use the United States and Russia for my example. Let’s assume we are thinking of moving from the United States to Russia. We know the laws of our country, but not the law in Russia. So, can we take the laws we like in the United States and leave the ones we don’t like? And when we get to Russia can we accept the laws w We will soon find out that the government of Russia will not accept our decision e like and disregard the laws we don’t like by using the laws we brought with us? The same is true with our choosing between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. Neither will change to fit us, we change to fit the kingdom we choose.
Today, Jesus’ Church is called to continue what God started when He said to subdue and take dominion of all the earth. We are to continually plant Christians around the world. So, all true Christians have part of the same job of setting up earth for Jesus’ return. All Christians are called to grow their church outwardly, not just inwardly. For Jesus’ kingdom to grow it must first be visible, not private or hidden. We are not a private garden with a fenced wall around us and a no trespassing sign on the gate. This means Jesus’ church must not only be focused on increasing its numbers, but on building Jesus’ body as a true believing and fighting army. It’s time for Jesus’ Church to jump on board because he has never stopped wanting his church to win as many people from Satan as possible.
No, Jesus is not going to carry people; he is going to march his church showing off His family. All churches is what makes up one body for Christ to be the head. Like any human body, His body also has many different parts for accomplishments. Thus, it takes Jesus’ entire body, arms, legs, toes, eyes, ears, etc. all in action preparing Jesus’ kingdom so He can return. Yes, Jesus is not going to build his kingdom, and then return, His church is to build it, so he can return. A good lesson for all Christian churches today.
