Old Testament Bible Isaiah, says God said, Day of Redeemed, Day of Vengeance, and year redeemed had come into His heart. When He looks for someone to help him, He could not find anyone. So, he brought his salvation to mankind through Jesus, (Isa 63:4-5) who came to earth giving his life so mankind could return with good news of “new creation”. He took Satan’s power and authority that caused Adam and Eve to affect mankind. Now, God’s work is through His team called Christians creating relationships as one body working with him as Head. Now, Holy Spirit works through Christians bridging a gap between the spiritual man and our natural worldly nature. This change moves Christians today from a fallen nature into His divine nature through repentance and salvation. Obviously, Satan continues to try to divert us, the same as he tried to take Jesus off course by tempting him in the wilderness. Satan failed, but never stopped trying to tempt both non-Christian and Christians still. Sadly, he has been successful, even taking entire Christian organizations of course, even turning churches against churches.
No, Jesus’ plan is not a secret. He gave Peter the “keys” to his kingdom, while telling him he was blessed because God had revealed it to him. Jesus also told Peter he was on a rock of revelation of the Church He came to build, that not even the gates of hell could prevail against. “(Matthew 15:17-19). This is important because it is a major purpose in the lives of all Christians. This is because all believers around the world have the same Holy Spirit working through them. The result will be a flood of Holy Ghost believers covering the earth and preaching salvation in these last days. The Body of Christ will become like Ezekiel’s dry bones coming together with life. Like Ezekiel’s bones the Church is coming alive to fulfill the Father’s plan created before the foundation of earth. Ezekiel 37:1-10 the hand of the Lord brought me in the Spirit to a valley full of bones. He said, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Lord You know.” He said, “Prophesy to these bones saying, ‘dry bones hear the word of the Lord! “I will cause breath to enter you and you shall live. I will put sinews and flesh on you and breathe in you. You shall know I am the Lord. So, I prophesied as He commanded and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood an exceedingly great army.
The New Testament Church Age is made up of a people forgiven of their sins because Jesus offered His blood. After His crucifixion and resurrection 120 disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. They preached Jesus in the streets, beginning the first day of the Church. Peter preached the very first message and another 3,000 were added to the Church that same day. All this was the fulfilling of the Old Testament prophecies. This new church preached God’s purpose that was prophesied in the Old Testament. This became the foundation of the church Jesus said Satan could not defeat. Yes, it has now been around 2,000 years and Jesus’ Church is still moving toward the greatest victories in history! No, it is not the time for Christians or Pastors to give up. Although it is definitely time for Jesus’ Church to stand up and be counted while marching forward. Peter’s answer was to Jesus: “You are Christ, the Son of the living God.” Remember Jesus’ response, saying that no human told Peter, it was God, and the gates of hell will not take it down. Jesus also said that whatever was bound on earth would be bound in heaven and whatever loosed would be loosed in heaven and not even hell could stop his Church (Matthew 16:13-19).
So, why would any true born again Christian even be concerned that Jesus’ Church is losing or cannot win? According to history, the Christian Church started about 1,600 years later. They created different names expressing their different doctrines, but the idea was not to separate Jesus’ truths. Yet, throughout the years it did separate the Body of Christ, often based on manmade doctrines instead of God’s Word. During the 16th century there were about four basic church groups. By the 20th century there were over 200. Today, I’m not sure, but the good news is that many are starting to work together more for the cause of Jesus than there manmade rules and regulations. This is a good sign Jesus’ body of bones is coming together to breathe life back into the body of Christ, the CHURCH. Jesus’ true Church will, without doubt, increase in the last days as it heads for its greatest victories the world has ever seen. Those that are ready will be victorious, as the body of Christ sets up Jesus’ Kingdom for His return in the last of these last days. So get on God’s team right away.
