The believers armor protects and helps overcome our challenges also: John 14:12-12 say: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it..
Now, without controversy, God did not create humans to be complacent soldiers, but to accept challenges knowing they win: “Rejoice always, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. As Christian soldiers we are to stay in focus both as a body and individually. We may not think we can stand, but with God all things are possible, making nothing impossible, Isaiah 55:8-11.
Whenever a storm of life situation looks bad it really means that it’s time to advance, not time for a pity party. God never meant for His army to lay down when things look shaky. In fact, He gave us spiritual weapons so we can win our battles of life. Our storms are only fiery darts of evil, so stop focusing on them and start using your sword of His Word. Always remember that the advantage is ours and evil knows it. Satan deceived Adam and Eve, but don’t let him deceive us.
Together, God’s Word and our spoken Word can stand against all sickness or storm, natural or spiritual. When a believer speaks God’s Word against any attack, it becomes a supernatural part of our spiritual war mode. This makes our success equation simple: When we speak God’s words we Create our own divine storm that opens the door to Jesus and His promise of abundant life, (John 10:10b). There’s an old saying that goes like this: if we continue to do what we have always done we will continue to get what we always got, so is that what we really want?
So why not start today by replacing our “passive mode” with an aggressive spiritual war winning “war mode”. It is obvious God’s Spirit is trying to awaken His body of believers for active duty. The time for lethargic Christians is ending. It is time for true Christians to stand, be counted and increase His churches. “If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small”, (Proverbs 24:10).
Jesus invites all who will to come to Him, if God be for us, who can be against us”. God never said it would be easy. God wants His family to accomplish the impossible so the world can see His glory and believe. What a powerful team! When we’re connected to Jesus, we are unbeatable. Jesus summed it up on His Cross, “It is finished”, (John 19:30). Jesus said that He finished what He came to do. Now His true followers are to continue His plan on earth to prepare all who will accept His eternal life, Matthew 28:18-20.
This may just be a story, but bring out the importance of Jesus’ one eternal plan. It shows our salvation is an extremely vital reason Jesus came to earth. This story also brings up another question: How hard is it to be saved? The answer is simple. Read Acts 2:38-39 about the day of Pentecost, birth of the Church, where Peter preached the first message. When finished the people asked Peter how to get saved. Peter gave a simple answer that still applies today, (Acts 2:38-39.
MY FINAL WORD is a Word Lord gave me, JANUARY 1, 2011 for body of Christ: “The Lord said He was moving across the land like a calm relaxing breeze. He said this breeze, although feeling and looking like warm calm air, would actually be filled with His Divine Power ready to manifest through those who intensely look for Him and will receive Him. They would be like an animal with its nose lifted in the air to catch a familiar scent. They would look for His scent sniffing the breeze to spot the Divine Glory and Power of Jesus. They would see Him standing in Divine white power like never experienced or seen by His Church, the body of Christ. He will not be seen or heard like a mighty rushing storm would be, but like a quiet breeze that is not noticed and would require an effort to hear or see.
