Taken from my book: “God Is More Than An Aspirin”. It’s a book that gives courage to enter life’s battles. Yes, life can be tough, but God has given us gifts to help us not only survive, but win. Remember, we are designed as His hero. This blogging comes from chapter five, “God Will Move in the Church”. I even asked the Lord this: “Lord, the church is Your presence in this world. Over and over, You have told us that we are important. Help me understand what you want us to be.”. Yes, He immediately answered, showing me soldiers ready for battle, dressed in armor looking indestructible, undefeatable, yet beautiful.
Then I saw the enemy that was completely different, crafty and shrewd, and inferior for battle. As I looked upon the field of battle, our soldiers ran trying to avoid enemy. Then something changed. Two of God’s soldiers noticed each other and came together, than a third and then twenty joined powerfully able to fight enemy and could not be stopped. Then the Lord said to me: “This is My Church”.
The big question to many people today is, “Why do you really go to church”?. Are you experiencing the spiritual power being preached? Are you receiving healing? Are you praying for someone else to be healed? Is your life outside the church one of power and victory and blessings? Are you sharing your blessings with others so they may experience salvation and hope? It’s an interesting thought isn’t it?
When I was training to be a pilot, one of the first things I learned was the importance of the two propellers being synchronized. This does not happen automatically, nor by accident. It requires the pilot make it happened. God’s vehicle, His Church, has to be in sync if it wants good performance. Can airplane fly if propellers not synchronized, yes it can, but not ideal performance. Can Jesus’ church operate without being in sync with rest of His body? Again yes, but, like plane the body of Christ does not happen automatically by accident, people have to make the adjustments, (Hebrews 10:24-25). Unity, the church being together is vitally important to Gods’ total plan and our desires. Remember it was Him who said not to forsake being together.
If not actively involved in your church I encourage you to link up. Sell out for the gospel and Join in with Ephesians 6 teams. It is time all stand up in our armor and prepare to fight the spiritual battle we were created for, living completely for His kingdom instead of what this world is trying to sell us. God has made it very clear that He wants the army of God to take their stand in His army in His spiritual battle.
SEPTEMBER 28, 2005, Word Lord gave through me for His Body of Believer’s: “When My words have been placed in you, when My words have reached the skies with our mouth, heaven looks down. I know the words you speak reach all the way up. Know that what you claim heaven will back up. Know that your words are powerful. Your belief is strong. Your faith is great. Apply them, deploy the, send them forth into the sky where the powers and principalities of the air know the power and wisdom of God, because the church speaks it forth. When you speak forth, your word becomes a stronghold against the enemy, a blocking point to the adversary, and strength and encouragement fills the air. Send them forth. Deploy them violently. Let your words be heard. Let your words sound like a mighty wind, and heaven will back you up. Know who you are and know the power of your words. Declare your words and take dominion over your mouth and your words, speak out words that will bring down stronghold. IT is in you. Start bringing it forth.”
Yes, the body of Christ, and all true believers are part of the body also and will be focused on building the kingdom of God so Jesus can return and take His throne. There are two teams, Jesus’ and Satan’s; both eternal, but separate places. Jesus’ is heaven, hell is Satan’s, make sure you’re on Jesus’ team! There is NO OTHER TEAM.
