Taken from my book “The Call to Revival” getting Believers Back on Track”, Chapter 20 page 305. This chapter says loudly, NO to flesh and YES to Spirit. Yes, it’s also safe to say we live in time that’s cresting a lot of frustration on who’s right and wrong. In Old Testament God times God gave man laws, in New Testament it requires a change of adding God’s Spirit to man’s spirit. This gave man ability to rece3ive the Holy Spirit to work through and with us to fit His plan of abundant life: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believers in Me, the Works I do he will do greater”, (John 13:11-130.
There are also 9 Spiritual Gifts designed for us to walk in His path with. 6 gifts are silent, and 3 are vocal, so we can know what God wants us to know. THREE GIFTS OF REVELATION: a) Word of Knowledge, b) Word of Wisdom, c) Discerning of Spirits. THREE VOCAL GIFTS: a) Divers Kinds of Tongues, b) Interpretation of Tongues, c) Prophecy. THREE POWER GIFTS: a) Gift of Healings, 2)Working of Miracles, 3) Gift of Faith. Total of 9 Gifts of Spirit. Thus, working with God’s spirit is where our answers are found. Jesus put us in motion while on Cross saying “IT IS FINISHED”. In other words, I have completed My part, now I leave it to My believers to keep it going until I return. This is one reason, (1 Corinthians 2:14, 16). Also, this is why the natural man cannot understand God’s Word unless he is born again as anew creature in-Christ (2Corinthians 5:17).
MAJOR POINT: Every Christian should individually use their Spiritual gifts. Spiritual gifts are not a church group project. It is a believers desire to fulfill God’s purpose by using them. It’s a desire to bring help to others and glory to God. Every born again Christian should be praying for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit individually, and church wide. God has never taken His Gifts of Spirit out of the body of Christ, (believers). If it seems like it is missing, more likely the Church stopped teaching and seeking His Spiritual anointing. His gifts of Spirit have always been available, just not sought after. So we see that all 9 gifts, is the true manifestation of the power of Holy Spirit. God’s power flowing through us, as we say NO to world and YES to Jesus as we walk together toward our eternal life in Heaven, not the other directions. May God continue to show Himself in your life! Psalm 107:1 says it best: “Oh, give thanks to the Lord for He is good! For His mercy endures forever”.
Awesome blessing and spiritual authority are becoming more and more vital that all true believers of every group should learn importance of true spiritual power flowing available by true obedience based on a Holy Spirit relationship. Why, because unpacking the Saints Ministry (true believers) ties into the reason Jesus came to redeem. Jesus came to not only free us from bondage of the curse (Galatians 3:14), but give us His treasures and ministry gifts so we could walk with Him winning battles. Yes, there will be battles, but walking with Him puts the winning on our side in unity to a perfect man with the fullness of Christ: (Ephesians 4:13-14).
SO WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT? Easy answer: The words, “Saints of God” are more than a title. God expects His army to be assembled and working together. We are assembled in every service, throughout our communities. Each group accomplishes their local body ministries. Also we all reach outside the church buildings, into neighborhoods, work place, our own families, etc. to demonstrate Christ’ presence, which are true Bible Saints, “holy people”. Ambassadors of Christ given a ministry titled: “Ministry of Reconciliation”, (2 Corinthians 5:16-20).
SIDE STEP: This book, “The Call to Revival” has seven power steps to Spiritual Authority and Growth: 1) “How to Understand Jesus” Plan, 2) “What Jesus Changed on Cross”, 3) “Church getting Back on Track”, 4) “God’s Salvation Plan Empowered”, 5) “Equipping of the Church”, 6) “The Design of Church”, 7) ‘Walking in Spiritual Gifts”. All of book is good for Ideal reading for leaders, teachers, members, all working to build church groups”.
