Purpose of Gift taken from my book: “What God Wants to do For You Now”: Without Jesus coming to earth to give His life for us on cross with resurrection following and outpouring of Holy Spirit on Day of Pentecost (Acts 2) to break the curse of what Adam and Eve created. Jesus came and gave His life paying price for us. The price He paid now give us opportunity to be part of God’s plan again. This time through us instead of on us like Old Testament.
Prophecy is a supernatural message from God giving us more information on what has been previously given or edifying and exhorting reassurance to us. Prophecy also confirms and given direction toward some things that is already recognized. It could be as simple as a reminder or healing or coming victory just to name a few.
Jesus himself said it’s impossible for humans to get themselves into heaven. Otherwise, there is no other way possible, [Mark 10:27]. So where would we go if not to heaven is a popular question. The simplest answer is in Mark 9:43-48. So, what does all this mean to Believers today-a lot? We need to boldly declare our position with His message to world.
Life with Jesus is not about gaining man’s favor, but winning those trapped in this worlds control back to God’s life He created for us. The Word of God is to help us draw those lost, to Jesus, not run them down or criticize them.
This is the reason the fruits of Holy Spirit through Believers is so important in our day. It means our spiritual power comes from working with Jesus, not asking Him to fight our battles as we sit and watch. Also, true believers in last days especially need to stand their ground spiritually.
All of God’s people are precious to him. He wants all His people to be healthy and full of life and love, working together as one body. Yes, like the human body His Believers body also has many parts with different callings. Yet, He does not want them in competition, rejecting each other. He wants a family that is spread around the world, country to country, city to city, church to church, person to person, seeing each other as part of their family.
The Apostle Peter (1 Peter 2:9-10), told the Christians world today that we are a chosen generation, royal priesthood that may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light, as people of God, who obtained mercy. As I say so often:
